Otterness does his art in a very simple, cartoonish, striking style.
It's instantly accessible and fun, but still powerful and very
evocative. I like his stuff. His website has all kinds of info on
him.
In 2004/2005 he had a huge public art installation all along Broadway, from midtown all the way up to Washington Heights. I managed to get to all of them and photograph his stuff. Most of the pics came out pretty good.
